Delightfully bright and perfectly blended, this 12th Edition from Heaven Hill’s Parker’s Heritage Collection carries sweet notes of citrus for a wonderful burst of flavor. PHC 12th Edition Orange Curacao barrel finished bourbon is aged for a minimum of 7 years and finished another 4 months in French Orange Curacao liqueur barrels. Released in 2018, PHC Edition 12 has a matured barrel strength of 110% proof and is composed of a mash bill of 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye. The nose is introduced to waves of sweet orange crush candy along with light wood char and vanilla-caramel cream. An abundant excess orange. Possesses a flavor like enhanced bourbon

Preparing myself for the impact of orange on the button however it's extremely mellow. Recognizable yet mellow. On the sense of taste it's there also however not overwhelming. Smooth with cowhide. The citrus is there however progressively like severe get-up-and dislike squeezed orange. Great difference in pace. 10/20/18 Increasingly orange on the button this time.
